Translation Reviewers/Project Coordinators
Location: Spanish Fork, Utah Area
We are in immediate need of several students interested in getting experience in the translation industry. The position would be a full-time, paid summer internship that could grow into other opportunities down the road.

Position Responsibilities include:
- Assist in project preparation and coordination (70%+ of position)
- Regularly run errands including making bank deposits, checking mail, picking up office supplies, and otherwise
- Maintain various aspects of the office to ensure everything is in order
- Answer telephone calls
- Assist with human resources needs, primarily securing and coordinating with contractors on a regular basis
- Assist with some accounting needs
- Be flexible according to the needs of the organization and its employees
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of position
Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office experience *strongly* preferred, particularly expertise with Word and Excel
- Understanding of translation/localization industry a plus

- Utilize translation memory, translation workflow, localization, and project management tools to follow a project from beginning to end
- QA and formatting of translated software files, documents, and otherwise
- Design and implement creative solutions to improve the translation/localization process
Qualifications:
- Technical/computer skills *strongly* preferred
- Understanding of translation/localization best practices and processes a plus
- Experience in project management preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to be very detailed and accurate
- Ability to remain focused and organized
- Ability to analyze processes and see where improvements can be made
- Experience with Trados. Experience with other translation tools a plus.
- Experience in troubleshooting/fixing localization bugs
- Experience with project management tools
- Experience using translation management systems (TMS) and content management systems (CMS) a plus
- Experience with non-Latin based languages a plus

- Strong understanding of Spanish as a second language, with English being the native language
- Technical/computer skills and experience preferred (CAT tool experience a plus)
Position Responsibilities:
- Spanish > English review/proof of documents that have already been translated
- Project coordination, communicating with translators around the world
- Substantial use of translation memory tools, SDL Trados in particular
- Document formatting/desktop publishing of final documents
